I used up my FT bonus a long time ago and was thinking of moving from PS to UB or Absolute while I grind 25NL for their rakeback and bonuses. Anyone ever had a good experience doing this or have any advice? I have seen nothing but negatives about those sites and don't wanna get screwed.
Thanks,
O

If you can overcome the software which looks so ugly and the massive cheating that went on then jump in.
I have some spare rakeback leftover from the time i withdrew after they where caught cheating by p5s and i play there when pstars is down and the software frustrates me so much after playing with the pokerstars interface.

Most players would say don't play on sites that try to cover up cheating scandals. Absolute and UB are not reputable sites.
I did play on UB for the bonus and rakeback, and the rakeback came back significantly less than what I was owed. I emailed support (both from the affiliate and UB) quite a bit about it and they never gave me a straight answer. I still have about $500 in bonus just sitting there because even with the bonus and the rakeback together I make far more on other sites. The bonus takes forever to clear.
Check out the thread by spoon on bonus whoring and rakeback, I think it was recently bumped.

Thanks for the heads up.
I read spoon's post and it includes FT which isn't an option for me.. unless my "wife" makes an account.. which is a bit dishonest. I'd hate to have my funds seized
I may just stay on PS for 25NL then, it may take longer but at least I know the dough is safe from cheaters..and I can actually cashout at some point without a hassle.
Anyone else got any ideas? I'm a US player btw.

Dev, they deduct the cleared bonus from your rakeback as well. perhaps this was the difference? the software is allright nowadays, if you select the new view it's not much different from stars and the new party. As said the bonus takes aaaaaages to clear, plus lots of BBJ-tables, which is extra rake. All tables can be bought in for 200bb so lots of deepstack play.

The math was way off. On top of the scandals, etc. I would just like to see those two sites die.

Supporting or not supporting, that depends on individuals.
I have been playing in Absolute for a month on 25NL.Rakeback works just as normal, but beware of the Bonus Clearing.
I have played 40k hands, and only cleared $150 from the initial $500.So its pretty hard to clear the bonus playing 25NL.Would be better to play 50NL and 100NL as it takes less hands to get credit points.
Nevertheless,it has no time limit to complete your bonus.
