I had thought that online rake was lower than in B&M casinos. I play FT though where the rake is 10%. Are all sites the same or do some take a lower rake? If not, has it always been 10% online. I know tourney rake is cheaper onplin, I thought it was the same for cash.

Also, is rake taken on an uncalled bet at the end of a hand?

Thanks in advance!

On the ipoker skins I play (Titan, 770 and CDpoker) rake is 5%, hands that do not see a flop are not raked, and uncalled bets are not raked either.

The rake on Full Tilt depends on how many players there are dealt cards and what stakes you're playing. At 10nl it seems to be 10% up to $2 in a 9-handed game, and at 25nl it seems to be 5% up to $3 in a 9-handed game. You can check it out here: http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rake.php

Basically, don't play 10nl or heads up, amirite?

Rake isn't taken out of hands that don't see a flop or uncalled bets.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
