Assume 100bb stacks in a 9- or 10-handed NLHE game.

There are two limpers ahead of you, and you have A4o on the button. How is a raise here attempting to pick up the blinds/limped bets?

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Have you seen them limp/fold? Are the blinds tight or loose? If conditions are right I don't think your hand matters much.
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc

I wouldn't raise A4o there.

A4 is not the issue -- this can be done with any 2 cards, You will win it preflop, or on the flop with a C-Bet alot of the time. It's not a move I do alot, but on occassion, against TAG/TAP this will work

ppl tend to start thinking this way and they can very easily just start spewing by overdoing this all the time. if you start to do this then make sure to pay close attention to your image and how the players are reacting to you.

BankItDrew will become famous soon enough
I find that when I'm on tilt, I'll start doing this a lot. It's all about the right conditions: image, position, stacks etc. At the most, I'll limp A4o in this situation.
