lol, one of the first MPT I did extremly well in and finished 18th of 1000, I got taken out because a guy with 4x my chip stack pushed my all in preflop, I was holding AKs and he had 83o, I understand why he did it now.

Still don't like it. 3 to 1 isn't much in No-limit. If he wins you're back to even. You risked 740 chips to win 40.

Well, yes... plus the tournament title if the guy calls.

I don't think there was that much risk. He had a small piece of information on what ambsffan would do when ambsffan called rather than raised (I'll PFR head-to-head with any Ace in my hand)

He had the chip lead. So much over ambsffan that if he doubled ambsffan up Rippy would not be in much trouble.

Look at the information Rippy gave.
He didn't just bet his opponents stack, he went over the top to put himself all-in. This shows great confidence in his hand.
If Rippy looses this hand, he will not suffer too much, the will practically be even with ambsffan being only 40 chips up.
I'm sure Rippy pushed all-in very quickly to provide another tell that Rippy has a good hand.

When I add all this up, I see 40 free chips in the pot, that I am going to swipe. I'm sure if Rippy had magically known that ambsffan's hand was good enough to possibly call the bet, Rippy wouldn't have pushed all in. But looking at the hand, it was a good play.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

A5o heads up is a good hand. It will win more than it's fair share. But a premuim hand it is not. The lesson here is that a good flop beats a pretty good hand every time.
