I played some 5NL with my homegame buddies on PS lately and I know you guys are getting a lot of shit for playing 6m like total nits, but it's probably totally fine.
I only have a very small sample, but the way it looks most people are playing WAY too aggressive post-flop, and calling way too much preflop.
The reason to loosen up would be to steal more pots, and you can often outplay your opponent when you got position. But if they never fold, then thightening up is the right adjustment imo.

If you play like 16/12, you can open up your value range a little, but I don't think it's necessary to beat the game.

i've noticed that it only takes one station at a 6max table to justify shutting down a lot of your standard actions. i'm not saying this needs to completely change your strategy up, but opening w JTo from the button with the thought that you can "outplay your opponent" if your hand misses immediately becomes a leak.
also, if the entire table is stationesque (3 calling stations and no more than one reg), it can become very profitable to limp hands with high implied odds from EP (small PP's and SC's, maybe not suited aces). because the stations in LP love big suited cards so much, i've been stacked by better flushes when i've limped my SC's and i STILL think this is a profitable play, that's how much money i've made in those situations

opening JTo is not a leak, it's EV+ even if you get called 100% of the time because you have position with an OK hand

i know that it's not USUALLY a leak because of the position and OKness of the hand. reread my comment.

JTo is a value raise on the button.
