Hello,
I just started playing poker on FT about a month ago and have been looming around these forums for a few weeks reading posts but I decided to join and start contributing. Anyways, I just discovered Poker tracker and was wondering if any of you could comment on some of my stats. Over this month I have been basically treading water with my BR and not going anywwhere. Ive played mostly 2 and 5 dollar SNG's

Sample Size - 5,000 Hands
Finished in the money 44.7 Percent
VP$IP - 23.59
PFR Percent - 8.04

Not really sure what an acceptable range of percentages for some of these should be, tips on what I should shoot for as far as my stats would be great.

Hi and welcome to FTR, it's good to have you here!

It's a bit hard to comment on your play from these general stats since optimal SNG play is to start off tight and loosen up as the blinds increase and the table gets shorthanded. The other thing is that 5000 hands is about 50-100 SNGs which is a small sample size.

That said, your ITM stats seem good but if your BR isn't increasing my guess is you have more 3rd and 2nd places than 1st.

Anyway, the best way to improve your game and to get feedback is to post either specific hands or whole tourneys in the Sit N Go Tourney Tactics forum and we'll take a look.
