To this point I've tended to be a rock that ventures into LAgg territory about 25% of the time at a table to mix up my play, trip up opoonents, and practice tough thinking postflop play.
I'm now starting to become even more LAgg as I am comfortable outplaying 80%+ of players postflop at the low stakes games I play ($5 and $10 SNGs and MTTs).
The question is, do you sometimes get into a mindset of "well I think he has this, but he thinks that I think he has this. And he thinks I have this I think but he may be outplaying me so I think he is putting me on this range.... what's my play.... crap my head exploded"
In general when playing LAgg against fish you just play the opposite of their style and attack all weakness and leaks that player has, but when up against another thinking LAgg my mind trips up.
This is probably too long-winded so in short:
How does a thinking LAgg play against a thinking LAgg?

To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

I would imagine a LAgg plays the same way against a LAgg as a TAgg does. By showing them a great hand.

Let's say your are facing a thinking LAgg and are very confident you have the best hand. I trip up here when extracting value.
If I value bet I feel that the thinking LAgg will recognize a value bet.
If I overbet I feel I'm only going to be called/raised by hands I don't want calling/raising and get a fold otherwise
If I check then I'm not building the pot with my superior hand and allowing free cards to come out.
How do you extract value from your hands against a winning aware thinking LAgg player?

It sounds like you are asking
"how do I beat a better player than me",
I guess you just need to get better.
Even aware LAGs must have weaknesses which are unque to that person. Find out what it is. Be more aware of him than he is of you. If he is the one guy at the table you are worried about then watch everything he does in his hands and really get into his head. Dont spend so much time watching the guys you know you can already walk over.
Im just trying to inspire you here.

OK, fair enough and probably the truth. I feel that they arent necessarily outplaying me, I'm outplaying myself.
I guess Demi's sig is really a good way to stop yourself from overthinking. One step ahead is all you need.
