Ok, i have a couple questions on this one. First, let me say that unfortunately I didnt have a read on this player, so

1:Was I not betting enough? I mean on the flop I bet about 66% of pot, on the turn I bet about 66% of the pot, and the river I just bet what I had bet on the turn because I was scared he had hit his flush (which of course he did). However I didnt want him to buy the pot if I checked to him.

2: should I had not bet into him on the river when the flush showed? If a player makes his drawing had like a straight or a flush, WILL IT BE MORE PROFITABLE TO ME IN THE LONG RUN IF I LEARN TO JUST CHECK/FOLD THIS SITUATION? My thinkin is I always bet into them because first off like I mentioned above, I dont want a player sensing fear in me for checking and buying the pot. And lets just say they have two pair to my kings and I bet into them on the river when the flush shows maybe thell actually fold a better hand then me when I show aggression.

Well played hand. Being out of position makes hands like this harder to play.

You made him pay to beat you on every street. He caught up on the river. Just part of the game. He was not getting the right price to make that draw based on your betting. Just part of the game.

The question is what if he re-raised you on the river? Do you fold...hmm?

Only thing you could do was push AI or bet larger on the turn to blast out the flush for sure. However TPTK is a tough hand to do that unless you have a good read because you can't rule out a slow played set or 2 pair.
Send lawyers, guns and money - the sh*t has hit the fan!

You did pretty much all you can by making him pay for turn/river. Maybe a higher raise pf? He probably just wanted to pay the $3 for the turn but note that on the turn he has a flush draw w/ a double belly buster straight draw. (14outs). Will be hard to push him after that.

there wasnt much you could do, from looking at how the hand was played out it seems like he didnt know he made his flush. I mean what would be the point of drawing to a flush and then when you hit not raise? Especially since you where betting into him the whole way, screwy play on his part in my opinion. There wasnt much else you could do, I mean he called a small preflop raise then luckly for him he caught a flush draw=9 outs, then on the turn he hit a double gut shot=8-(the two D's for his flush)+9=15outs on the turn. I donno what else you could have done, raise harder preflop and nail him on the flop, even though it was incorrect for him to call on the flop.
