Playing 5NL had $4.75 raise 3x BB. Fold around to a player who has played 20 hands and has shoved twice already. They bought in for $1 min @ table. Do I call the $1.70 since their play is dumb and I can't lose my entire stack?

If I lose that's a lot of BB to make up, but I called ... Thoughts?

I'd raise to 4xbb pre, and call the shove. Did they show down either of the other two shoves?
<@d0zer> how will you learn if I don't berate you harshly?

IMO it's a call, there are alot of maniacs at the 5NL pushing with way worse hands. If you saw him pushing that much, I guess you can take your chances and see him as a maniac in which case you totally beat his range..

OMG POKERTRACKER IS RIGGED!

NO!

you call because his range is practically NEVER tighter than JJ+, AK (and it's almost always wider than that):

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 47.366% 45.79% 01.58% 164644764 5675268.00 { QQ }
Hand 1: 52.634% 51.06% 01.58% 183588540 5675268.00 { JJ+, AKs, AKo }

so it's still a call
