Villain was 77/14 over around 20 hands hadn't seen him 3bet until now
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
MP2 ($3.73)
CO ($4.40)
Button ($2.11)
SB ($1.42)
BB ($0.90)
Hero (UTG) ($2.04)
UTG+1 ($2.46)
MP1 ($0.92)
Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q , Q
Hero bets $0.08, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.08, 3 folds, SB raises to $0.14, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.06, MP1 calls $0.06
Okay, pretty standard here I think
Flop: ($0.44) 9 , 5 , J (3 players)
SB bets $0.10, Hero raises to $0.40, 1 fold, SB raises to $0.92, Hero raises to $1.44, SB calls $0.36 (All-In)
I had to call $0.52 to win $1.86, and if I was going to call here I knew I would call his $0.36 on the turn or river. This hand is just disgusting. I was thinking I was proably behind but the 77vpip just had me convinced he loved losing money- not to mention the odds...
What do you think? A fold to the flop 3bet? Maybe our range is so far behind I can justify not taking those odds?
Turn: ($3) 2 (2 players, 1 all-in)
River: ($3) 9 (2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot: $3 | Rake: $0.15

Probably 4-bet preflop and get it in. Also, if you're folding to the flop 3-bet then you shouldn't raise.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I think shoving QQ here preflop is fine - I tend to call a lot and would have been fine stacking off on the flop against this guy. For me, this hand is standard. I think the 77vpip IS someone who loves giving away money, but even maniacs hit a hand every now and again. Don't get too results oriented, imo.

This is a concept that has kept me from playing cash...You put a villain on a range and your hand is great to 3 bet with but yet at the same time. If you willing to fold to villains 4 bet you shouldn't ever 3 bet to begin with but some how you can see the future and know that a 4 bet is coming...Reading people talk about cash games is so discovery channel to me
Im kidding btw, its just so confusing lol.
