Since I'm still new and stupid, I'd call this and see what happens.

-also-

Since I'm still new and stupid I'd really like to see what the more seasoned members here have to say.
I have no sig. Quit looking down here.

if you fold here then you have played the hand very well.
Calling here you gotta ask the question, what calls your raise pre-flop then check-raise shoves? and how often do you beat it? expect to see 44, 55, 45s here a lot.

i'd also expect to see a dumbass AA here fairly often.

Check raises at micros = strength 95% of the time in my experience. Fold.

Thanks everybody. I folded, so it looks I did the right thing.

I am just puzzled by the size of his raise. It feels like a weak hand that is trying to get my off my hand. But it seems like a weird spot to make such a move. Strangely enough I would have felt better about folding if he had raised to something like $1.00.

heres the thing, miracle.

when someone overbets so hard, its either air or the nuts at these levels. and you have to see a decent track record of air before you make the call with anything other than top two, imo.

if you have that kind of read, then, stick it in his.....he deserves it for pushing with crap.

oh, and laugh at him in the chat afterward, too.

It doesn't feel like a weak hand, it feel like a quite strong hand that's scared of getting outdrawn. 45 would fit perfectly, as would AA. But most of all, at these stakes it's likely a fish drunk on holding a good hand rather than anyone getting tricky on a dry board. Unless you have a read that this guy pulls this kind of thing all the time, fold.

In this kind of situation, I always ask myself how I'm going to feel if I lose a stack with second pair after a very aggressive move from the villain? Answer = fucking stupid.

I think it's an idiot with a set. Gotta fold. You would think on this board he would want you to call his bet. Just roll your eyes and fold.
