I'd like to hear from others, but I'd fold.

Ohhh tricky and very read dependant. I'd probably let it go. A set probably doesnt play like this, it probably cold cals here and raises on a face card. Had you any reads on him pre-flop with AA, KK ? I personally find the big long wait with '15 seconds left to act' a bit sus; if I think he has any clue I lay it down and let him have his 8 stinking bucks! I also dont mind ppl thinking I will fold to big over bets for when I flop a monster!

I wouldn't be suprised to see a set of tens here. He thinks you have a high pocket pair, so why not get it all in on the flop?

So the only hand I see you beating here is JJ. Tough fold.

Although he might be a donk with AK...

I Fold, you have the obvious hand yet he still wants all his money in the middle. Your're beat.

These things are supposed to go in Holdem' Hand Histories by the way.

the guy called a re-raise to 17xbb in late position. given preflop play, there are 3 options:

#1. he has you solidly dominated w/ aa, puts you on a large pp & wants to milk you on the flop (kk would re-raise here b/c there's two people in the pot)

#2. he has ak & really wants to see a flop

#3. he has a middle-pair in the 77-jj range & is putting both you & the initial raiser on shared high cards (ak/aq) & commits to pushing on both of you if there are no scare cards (a/k/q) on the flop.

post-flop play:

#1. stops making much sense b/c he pushes on you... if he really cold-called preflop b/c he knows he's dominating your pp w/ aces, why wouldn't he cold-call again to extract maximum value out of his domination? he's not really worried about the spades since he's already put you on a pp...

#2. he can't really be pushing on you here unless he has ak of spades, in which case @ worst he's a flip to anything except aa/kk or flopped trips. definitely a possibility i'd consider.

#3. well, thats exactly what he told himself he would do after the flop; so he's doing it... you bet less than 2/3s of the pot, so you're not showing much strength, so why wouldn't he think his pair is ahead vs. your overs?

i'd probably put him on #3 & give the man action unless i had him pegged for a tight/solid player.
i bet 2 dolla on my flush draw

You're beat often enough to fold this. Both AA/TT could make this flop bet because you represent AA/KK. JJ would play more scared, AsKs is an option too.

Tough call
probably a set, but then ive seen 99/JJ played this way. I dont think its an insta fold but i wouldnt be surprised if you're way ahead here.
I have a sneaky feeling its 99/JJ/AT

I muck that. I think he's got KK/AA.

Reads change it.

Someone said he might have AK here, I don't think that's in the realm of possibility for almost any player unless, as mentioned, it's AsKs. If they're an idiot that thinks AK is push-worthy, they're doing it preflop.

opp limps cold calls a reraise then pushes a low flop. Looks like a set to me or someone who seriously overvales a hand like 99/jj.
Pay AA/KK fro the trap but its unlikely imo.

OP limps from MP, and coldcalls two raises prf, which is very often a PP (ppl like to limp and call raises with PPs - many ppl like to limp other crap hands also, but they mostly dump them to big prf raises). Theres a chance you are up against JJ, KT, AT or alike, but I think you are up against a set so often here that you have to fold.

Gaa ikke bankerot med et overpair mod en unknown :P

lol, thats a f up way to play KK!

I fold KK and probably AA too here. I mean, what you are afraid of here is not an overpair bigger than yours (in regard to QQ in your hand), but a floppet set.

i would've likely called & paid the man off. i really can't have him on kings here, possibly aces... generally speaking, letting go qq/kk as op is something i haven't learned to do consistently. then again, it all depends on the player & what i've learned about his play...
i bet 2 dolla on my flush draw
