HiLo
I just wondered if you guys make any assumptions based on the PT stats on your HUD, further than he is a tag/lag/rock etc which may lead you to try a play against them without solid evidence that it will work. I know I am too reliant on stats and really need to try to be more observant but sometimes struggle when multitabling.

Obviously if someone is only raising 2% we have a pretty good idea of his range, but as players get looser/more aggro do the stats start to lose meaning in terms of ranges/styles of play or is it safe to make some solid assumptions without reads?

i.e. Is there post flop agg. stat would lead you to immediately think he is weak and can be pushed off a hand/Is there a level that tells you he is raising/re-raising flops far too much and is worth 3/4 betting against with marginal holdings? etc etc

stats are just stats, tight, loose, aggro, passive, they all just give an indication of how someone has acted in hands you've played w/ them. so, the more hands, the better the read. also, take lots of notes on players, notes in comb. w/ hud stats can give you a pretty good feel for a player.

i just click on their name to see how often they're folding and on what streets. i use vpip in combination with pfr to decide how loose someone is and 3bet light accordingly.

oh, what i MEANT to say was. . .don't use a HUD
but seriously, i can't help but fire the damn thing up everytime i play. i don't use it when i play on my laptop (as i haven't installed it on there yet), and honestly i don't notice any difference in my results. but when i have it at my disposal i use it.
