How do you keep tabs on all the fish you run into over your playing time. Is there an actual buddy list thing that you can just add these players to and something will tell you when you log on to pokerstars where they are playing?

I know in Party Poker there is, because mine has a bunch of them. Not sure about any other sites. You could just use Notepad to store all the names and search players, but that would be time consuming I suppose.

i play on full tilt and i just make notes on players that are awful in a different color than i make notes on players i think play decent. i don't actively seek fish though, mainly cause i play so many tables.

yes, there is. its under "requests" at stars. Find a Player. enter the name, if they have their "allow players to find me" feature on, once you enter them, and go find them, they will stay there.
DAMN YOU, DREW, FOR TURNING YOURS OFF!! lol.
or, if you have "PokerGrapher," play around with that "buddy feature." you can transfer the names into the sites. granted, you have to do it manually, but they dont need to be online to know who to look for anymore.

Yeah I was hoping there was a way to avoid the manual part.
This look cool, at the moment I think I'm too cheap to get it. Plus its not that hard to find fish at my stakes, maybe when I move up ill consider this. Does anybody have it and is it worth it?

I take notes on the fish and the good players, at the lower stakes your going to see a ton of note icons on the tables, typically fish since there can't be that many good players. Just read the note before sitting, or use the colour coding at most sites.

personally, i note everything i see that isnt standard when i can.
anytime i am in a pot with a player with a note, i try and open it up...just to remind myself what i've noticed in case it comes up.
and, before i sit down, i try and look for notes. i read them and try and keep the looser players on my right and the tighter ones on my left.
