Do you have a pre(poker)game ritual? I read somewhere that’s it’s a good ideal to have one. Do either of you practice this? If so, what is it? I would like to start one but am not sure what to include.
Thxs in advance

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I used to have a pre-game ritual, and I used to make sure I was in exactly the right state of mind, etc. etc.
But then I realised that I'd be playing 1 hour out of a spare 5 and that sucked.. So now I just play whenever the games are good and I don't feel tired/tilted.

No ritual, but it is important to try to get your mind in the game before you start. If you're still distracted with other matters you'll make dumb mistakes.

Just playing to improve.

Blood sacrifice is good.
I think a chicken every now and then will suffice through about $3/$6 but above that level I'd suggest a goat about once every three months.
