What habits do you have or routines do you follow before you start a session? Do you have a setting that needs to be achieved or desired before beginning?

Before I grind, the following needs to take place:

1) Some sort of exercise
2) Well rested
3) Bowels removed
4) Not hungry or thirsty
5) Clean glasses
6) Set up Sirius satellite player

A routine I occasionally follow:

1) Have a heavy day at work
2) Go out after work.
3) Beer/live music/vodka/etc
4) Grab a coffee
5) more beer
6) decide i want to go home and play poker - 2:30am
7) grab a coffee from my favourite cafe as i walk past
8) get home 3am-ish and make sure i have a six-pack to hand
9) buy into 15 tables
10) grind a few thousand hands and drink a few beers
11) go to sleep
12) wake up and check bankroll...

a routine I'm planning to follow more often when i start playing again after this three week break:

1) feel like playing poker
2) check that I'm relaxed, not tired, etc (sober or not seems not to affect my game too much tho)
3) breathe/meditate a few minutes
4) remove distractions
5) get everything (music, hud, etc) setup how i want it for grinding
6) table select
7) start grinding
