Ok so I asked you guys wether I should raise more often in Texas Hold em no limit ring games with good over card ho hands like ace king. And most of you said that I should. With that being said I have started raising more but now I have another problem. If I raise 4xbb for example with Ace King and I get one loose/calling station player to call my raise. And I miss my flop completely. Should I bluff bet here when I already know hes a loose calling station. Problem is if I dont bet, im probably goin to loose all my preflop raise money. But if I do bet and he calls me I now have lost even more money...Should I just cut my losses at the flop once I miss agaisnt this type of player?

yes of course, if you dont think you still have the best hand, your raise would be a bluff or semi-bluff. A bluff is a disaster vs a calling st. But if the flop comes wierd like tre duces a raise would probably get it home for you. But what do you know about the player, does he call with nothing or does he have to have like tird buttom or something. Remember you just flop a pair about a tird of the time, use this in headsup and bet.

betting the flop will buy you a free card against calling stations. use it.

loose/calling station?
#1 rule!!!!
You can't bluff a calling station..
If you feel that they missed the flop and its only 1-2 guys go ahead and bet back out 1/2 the pot or so. But if there is a draw on the board tread lightly becase you will probably get called.

But remember, if three rags fall and you're heads up, your AK is likely to be the best hand, so you may be value betting instead of bluffing.

Back off to a raise though, because It's pretty easy to get Clucked if your not carefull. I really need to work on my AK skills because its a money loser for me right now.
