Thankyou spoonitnow, hangchiong and speedcake for helping me to analyze this hand on the irc channel.

Quote:
<Vandog> is it possible to feel like a donk and a winner at the same time?
<Speedcake_AFK> no
<@spoonitnow> Not only is it possible but it's probably healthy to be doing both at the same time
<Speedcake_AFK> you can BE a donk and win
<Speedcake_AFK> but you should feel like a loser
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Mistake 1:
Quote:
<@spoonitnow> Don't post the big blind that far out of position, if you post it should be in the CO if you're 9+ handed or the big blind otherwise
SB ($6.56)
BB ($2.92)
UTG ($10.01)
UTG+1 ($1.21)
MP1 ($2.84)
Hero (MP2) ($3)
CO ($4.96)
Button ($5)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 5, 10
3 folds, Hero (poster) checks, 1 fold, Button calls $0.02, SB calls $0.01, BB bets $0.08, Hero (poster) calls $0.06, Button calls $0.06, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.26) A, 10, 4 (3 players)
BB bets $0.20, Hero raises to $0.40, 1 fold, BB calls $0.20
Mistake #2:
Quote:
<@spoonitnow> Flop raise is questionable
Turn: ($1.06) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.20, BB calls $0.20
, turn raise is horribly sized, as is river when you should be 3-betting
Mistake #3:
Quote:
<@spoonitnow> turn raise is horribly sized,
River: ($1.46) K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.40, BB raises to $0.80, Hero calls $0.40
Mistake #4:
Quote:
<@spoonitnow> Flop raise is questionable ... as is river when you should be 3-betting
Quote:
<Vandog> should i have gone all in on the river
<Vandog> ?
<hangchiong> yup
There you go. I *won* this hand, but I should have won more money by following their advice. And that's really the point isn't it?
