My postflop betting is really weak because there are often so many things to consider that I'm confused as to what to do. Here is a fictional example to illustrate:
6-max game:
My hand KcQs
I raise 4BB, I get 3 callers.
=> pot is 16BB
Flop: Qh 9h 5d
Now, the things I'd consider:
- I have TPHK here.
- One of my opp's could be holding AA, KK, QQ or AQ which has me beat
- A guy holding AK could be wanting to wait for his 6 outs on turn+river, of which 3 outs (the Aces) beat me.
- A guy could hold a flush draw with 4 hearts
- JT would give a double-ended straight draw
- I don't wanna discourage people with something like JJ, A9 or Q7 out of the pot.
Are these correct? Maybe some can be ignored? I forgot some maybe?
But anyway, with these things considered, how much would you raise here? Or let's say I raise 1/2 pot to try to discourage chasers.. what if I get a caller? He might have me beat, he might be chasing anyway, I might have him beat.. etc.. how would I know?
Any input appreciated

severely doubt it - QQ+ would almost certainly re-raise you pre-flop. AQ is the only one of those I would be concerned with.

you cannot worry about a guy drawing to 3 outs

All the more reason to bet hard here. If you bet any type of encouraging bet for a draw, it only takes one person to call and this improves everyone else's odds for drawing.

Q7 won't be in a raised pot to start with (at least, I would hope not), but once you bet hard, A9 and JJ would have a hard time calling. Even if they did, they would have to improve on the turn.

So all things considered, a 15BB raise or so would be convenient here? (thus about pot-size) And if I get a caller, be wary of him holdin g AQ?

Bet 2/3 to 3/4 of the pot and if 2 people call, start to get worried. Do not get into the mindset of what others could have to beat you, in this spot, bet like you are ahead until someone tells you otherwise.
