Hi

I'm trying to start a bankroll on PokerStars and since I am a dirt poor college student I have to do it from scratch.

Which is probably the quicker/more efficient way of starting bankroll (from your experience) BESIDES DEPOSITING:

A) Turn 1,000 play money into 5,000,000 play money and then exchange on starschips.com (not sure how much cash you get but that is the minimum).

or

B) Just play the freerolls, qualify for the Weekly Round 2, and cash in the Weekly Round 2 (til you accumulate 5$ to be safe).

Note in (A) I'd figure you get 40$ or more for 5 million play chips, not positive, but 5 million sells for 80$.

TY for the help.

I didn't know you could exchange play chips for real money. I did start a bankroll from scratch on full tilt though. Pretty sure there are more freerolls on fulltilt than on stars. With enough tries you can cash, but building a bankroll from there won't be easy.

I got like 2.5k mil play money (from long long ago). I think the huge buyin SNGs were a good way to rack em up. But how do you change play money for real money and how much does 5 mil buy you? Oh and fuck all that deposit, 50$ somewhere and build it with BR management. Freerolling sucks arse.

Very important that's why i ask.

basically, i figure it takes probably 1 or 2 weeks to cash in a freeroll on stars, but you might only get 5$. then it might take another month to run that 5$ into 40$.

vs

take a month to run 1000 to 5 million (very broad estimate) play money and then trade for ~40$ (and hope that 40$ is in the ball park of what I actually get). So it is risky, but if I am right and it takes 1 month to get 40$ it seems this is better.

I feel I won't lose my money as easy if I work hard to get it.

Go to starschips.com (someone here mentioned it) and trade. THe support said minimum to trade is 5 mil though. Not sure for how much, but on the same site 5 mil sells for 80$ so I expect you get at least 40$...hopefully no less than that.

About how long did it take you to accumulate all those chips?? You have 2.5 billion? lol. Send me 5! (million )

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen.
