Pokerstars is coming up to another milestone with free money being given away every 1 millionth hand!

The big question is - how do you maximize your chance to win? My personal tactic is to move down to 5NL and play as many tables as I physically can when it comes close to the milestone. Given there's $10,000 cash added (or double that if you win), the VPPs don't seem quite so important!

I have been watching that but haven't seen anything about 10,000 being added every millionth hand. Comes up saying last hand won £426.89 or whatever, so where does the 10K come into it?

The formulas are as follows:

Milestone: Any Hand Ending in 000,000

Dealt: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60) + $20 = Cash Prize
Win: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60 + $20) x 2 = Cash Prize

Mega Milestone: Hand # 85,000,000,000

Dealt: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000) + $10,000 = Cash Prize
Win: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000 + $10,000) x 2 = Cash Prize

The VPPs play more of a factor for the million hands so I'm not sure what the best tactic for those hands would be, higher stakes means more VPPs but you'll want to play less tables...

Oh wow, is this gonna end after the 85th billion hand for a few months or will it just continue up to 100 billion with a mega milestone every 5 billion hands?

Up until now it's been every 5 billion so I guess it'll probably stay like that!

It's also worth noting that Zoom hands don't count.
