I've been playing Pokerstars for a few weeks now, jus micro limits/multi-tabling building my skill ect.

Doing ok, upto $70 from my $50 buy-in. People keep mentioning the ease of opponents at partypoker. Is it worth giving party a try too?

I'm enjoying pokerstars but would like a broad range in opponent skill to learn different styles and such.

Worth a dabble on party? Whats the minimum-deposit? Do you get a referral bonus and if so does anyone want to refer me.

Honest run-down of partypoker style wanted please! thank you

Just checked out the details for referring people and saw this in the terms and conditions:

4 - The $25 will automatically be added to the Referred Friend’s Bonus Account and then released to his/her Real Money Account once the release requirements have been satisfied. The release requirement is that the Referred Friend must play raked hands equal to five times the bonus amount ($25) before the bonus is transferred to his/her Real Money Account from the Bonus Account.

SO 125 raked hands, I was planning on depositing $50 but what limits would I (reasonably) have to play to clear that bonus AND would I be at risk at those limits still being a learning player?

thanks

installed the software to see the table limits. $0.50 - $1.00 is the smallest table?

Noticed the 25NL tables seemed to be 0.10-0.25 limits.

Hmmm perhaps I should just stay at pokerstars, my initial bankroll would be pretty sad for these limits.

Stay at pokerstars if you're comfortable there. Managing bankrolls on multiple sites dilutes your ability to react to situations, and you don't have the bankroll for multi-siting. Plus, party has no true micro-limit games.

Did you actually deposit money into the party account you made? IMHO, it's best to stay away from all of the party skins until you have a bankroll of at least $200 to commit (this would apply to Eurobet) so that you can get the max bonus. For Party/Empire you want $500 because that will get you $100 in bonus.
I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.
