This tourney is always full (with 10,000 entrants) within the first minute of open registration(1:05). My question pertains to the sign up. How the hell does it fill up so quickly? Is there really 10,000 + trying to sign up at that exact moment or is there some sort of computer program that people have that signs them up right away. I find it hard to believe that 10k people are all sitting down at their computer with that lobby open at 1:05, but maybe I'm wrong. What is the deal? Any guesses or answers?

There's only one thing that might be more savage than freeroll junkies... Rabid wolverines.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

FYP

Seriously , if you make it into the freeroll, then actualy get to enter the main 80k (5 in 10000) chance , how much do you think you are going to make against good players who bought in direct .top 250 out of 1700 ish get paid . Just deposit some money and use all the time you waste trying to get to an unrealistic target to actually learn how to play properly and build a bankroll so that one day you'll be one of the people buying in direct.

Yes, it's no skill and no learning anything from playing here
it's all about luck because blind up every 5 min and everything

I was pointing out to the OP that yeah it looks like an 80k freeroll from a glance ,but the chances of actuually winning anything as a freeroll entrant are minute in the least and the OP would be better depositing a moderate amount and learning to play poker properly rather than gambling in an all in fest

1 in 500 will win so 499 times out of 500 you waste up to 3 hours of time and if you win 5$. You'd be better spending a fraction of that time going round your neighbourhood offering to wash cars and deposit the money you make.

thats how I started . I'm not saying it can't be done , just that these aren't particularly good freerolls to build a roll on.I played for entertainment and happened to build a roll over 12 months. Now I'm looking to improve and get better. To do that you have to start playing where you are actually putting money at risk.
It was interesting in the ftr200 the other night the password hunters were moaning that no cards had actually been dealt for some time and that this wasn't poker. To me it was some of the most intense poker I've played as it was against much better players than me.
