Pokerstars has a great little freeroll that let's you win a seat in an $80,000 guaranteed tournament. I just missed registering two days in a row. It used to be the case that you might still get in as long as you registered in the first minute. Pokerstars needs to allow 20,000 people in. Anyone else having this problem? There are 3 buttons you have to click in succession and I did it two days in a row nearly as fast as humanly possible and I still ended up with the "tournament full" message. Hard to believe I wasn't in the top 10,000 people with these fast fingers.

I haven't been on Stars much at all recently and wasn't aware of this nice freeroll - Thanks for the heads-up. Of course, the last thing I need is another freeroll tempting me to spending a few hours in a tourney and getting nothing for finishing 23rd out of 10,000

Tickets for top 5, and 5.50 for up to 27th. So 23rd would get something. The tournament is a nightmare though, even at 10k it drags on forever, I can't imagine how excruciating bubble play would be for the ticket. Perhaps a better alternative would be to allow a player to enter into these once/twice a week.
BUT IF you insist on punishing yourself...
If you're just using a mouse your doing it wrong. Hold the mouse in your right hand, pointer over where the register button will be, with your left hand position a finger on tab, and the thumb on space.
As soon as the register button pops up hit it! Followed immediately by "space", "tab", "space" (if I remembed the combination correctly). This should shave "valuable" milliseconds and give you a far better chance of squeezing yourself in.

they need to make these super hyper turbos. these take way too long to play
grinding 2nl is probably more profitable

I've been playing the 1.10+R satellite for the same $80k tourney. There's about 500 entries instead of 10k, and on average the top 30 seats make it in. I've played the satellite about a dozen times or so and I've won 4 satellite tickets. I've averaged about 3-4 rebuys per try.
