I have been playing online for a year. This board has been a tremendous help. I am not at this level yet, but I made a mistake - thought I was getting in $10 tourn, ended up being a $100. Used alot of advice from thiis site, was good day ended up in 2nd place, made 3k
I find I either hit everything or nothing. its either a great day or terrible.
Some days my flushes hit, I get a 2nd pair on river if my kicker was beat, my pairs hit or hold up.
Other days, flush never hits, opponent hits 2 pair, flush, straight on river
Is this a characteristic of online poker?

When you're running good you expect draws to hit and your hand to win. A bad beat might not be so bad if its not much of your winnings vrs when you take one hit and you need a quick fix, you vest a lot emotionally into every draw and when they miss (which they usually do) it seems like they *always* miss. It's just how poker works.
