I don't think there are any free ones, but I've heard only great things about www.pokerxfactor.com

I found that Playstation games WSP and WPT were alot better than the free games on the web. They are at least programed to play semi-properly, not like the all-in maniacs at the free chip tables. if ya play like this forum tells ya you can finish it in a weekend, and win the bracelet. then go play micro stakes at poker stars and you will kick ass. they are worse than the game in every way. If that's what ya meant to learn to play a little better, not to learn the game.

Party Poker now has a trainer. I don' t know how good it is but you can try it out. Its under the play money tab. You sit down at a table against AI and set the difficulty level. It tells you your pot odds and gives you advice on which play is correct.

Don't know any free ones but I wouldn't bother paying money for a trainer. Just hang around here and read loads. FTR has produced many good players from nothing, no reason it wont work for you too.
