Hi, I'm trying to keep track of my BR by logging how much I won or lost in each session, and I'm coming across some inconsistencies. I'm taking my balance right off of the FTP cashier, and taking the amount won or lost right off of the poker tracker session, and the balance has gotten off by -$1.50 in 3 days. I only play 10NL so this isn't exactly negligible. Is there any way that maybe poker tracker isn't getting the rake right? I don't see why it would, but that's the only thing that I can think of for why this would be this off in only 3 days.

Sometimes PT doesn't get the entire HH, for example if you leave the table immediately after losing a big pot the HH will not have been complete/ saved at all (dunno how it works) and the database is slightly off. Just make sure you don't quit your tables too quickly I guess...

Yeah that's the thing, I haven't had any sessions in the last couple of days where I've lost a pot then left the table. All my sessions in the past couple of days I've made money and just left when the BB came around to me when I felt like stopping, so it's not like PT would have gotten part of the HH cut off..

Check your filters/preferences, and don't be so quick to discount one. It's a matter of dates, stakes or missing/corrupt HH's. It is never a rake problem. Try re-importing the HH's. You can request them from FT.

PT is never going to be exact on your results because of missing/partial/corrupt HHs.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

oh yeah the other thing is when you lose your connection half-way through the hand you don't have the entire history and PT fails to import.

It's just annoying because I'm trying to keep accurate records in a spreadsheet and thats hard to do when PT is wrong. Oh well, I guess it's not that big of a deal.
