Hello-

I dont know if this post belongs in here but I am a beginner and it seems like a beginner question.

Is there a way to transfer hands from computer to computer or something?
Here is the problem...I use a desktop some of the time and a laptop some of the time...I have Poker Tracker on both...but the winnings/# hands etc are way off from one another..difficult to look at real progress this way...can i download the entire hand history from some archive on my poker sites? or am i SOL and i have limited the usefulness of Poker Tracker?

Thanks

birdman

You can do this with HEM, and it should be possible with PT as well. From a high level, you just need to install your database on a portable drive.

You can also set it up across a local network. Obviously, set up the database on your laptop locally (so you always have it with you) then set up your desktop to access it via the local network:

Are both of these on the same network? If so you may want to share the folder that has your notebook database on it. This assumes that when you use your desktop that your notebook is connected to the network, but not allways the other way around. This would allow you to share your notebook database with your desktop while still being able to use your notebook when on the road.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
