hi,
trying to plug leaks and wondering what figures other people have for things like pre flop raises and voluntary put in the pot from the small blind?
i'm sure i need to be raising more preflop - currently at 6% (just over 6k hands) and probably playing less from the small blind - that figure is currently just under 38%...
are there any set figures (or bands of figures) that are considered 'correct' (not the right word)?
ta.

Hehe - my SB figure is 57%
(I have a penchant for playing good cards hard from the SB - at the low limits I play (£25NL usually) there aren't a lot of re-raises, so usually it ends up being as near as you get to a pure cards battle, ending in showdown, and I am signifcantly up (24BB/100 in SB or something) as a result.)
If you have PT, look at the definitions for each of their designations (TAG, LAG, SLPA etc.) and see if that helps. There's no *correct* set of figures - though there are "correct" (in a loose sense) ways of playing within each designation.

PT: Pokertracker. It's a program that tracks all of your statistics as well as your opponents. It's $50 and there's a signup link somewhere through FTR (In the tools of poker forum, probably) if you want to buy it.
