How necessary would you say Poker Tracker is for playing $2 NL on pstars? I know it would probably help, but at the same time I can't really drop 90 bucks right now without being sure its going to improve my game- (dl'd it a long time ago so free trial is up w/o me getting to use it).

Does PT make decisions in low stakes pretty much automatic based on things like fold to cbet and 3bet percent? Most people seem nitty as hell in 2NL from what I can tell.

Another novice question- do you think it's possible to clear the stars50 bonus at 5NL or are you thinking at least ten cent big blinds are necessary?

Thanks for helping out someone new to the online poker community.

At 2nl these stats wont be helpful b/c you wont play enough hands against players for these to be reliable...
His VPIP, PFR and AGR are probably the most useful and statistically relevant....

Tracking software will help you but it isnt necessary at 2nl to beat the game. Its more for tracking YOUR game and seeing where you can improve imo, although the program does help.
Another thing....I dont think you can ever use the software to make decisions automatic...you still need to pay attention.
I confess in quicksand

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
