If you only have <1000 hands you can use Poker Tracker in demo mode.

The poker tracker help forums are really good in answering any questions, every error i have ever encountered was on there.

Let Poker Tracker read your hand histories.
Make sure you have your e-mail sent to your actual e-mail. Not Hotmail. Then tell Poker Tracker to check your e-mail. It will check your e-mail for hand histories, import them and delete them. You can even tell PT to request hand histories for you.
I never had any luck with Poker Tracker when I tried to convert my hands to txt. But it worked fine the other way.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I am not sure what email you use, but if its Outlook...
1. Download hand history from Paradise to your email
2. Open email and make sure line breaks are included in email. Sometimes outlook automatically removes the line breaks from the email and will cause errors in Poker Tracker
3. In Poker Tracker, Select File -> Import Hand Histories.
4. Click "*Check Email"
The rest should be self explanatory
