I think he means a bot.
Well they're kinda illegal so I wouldn't recommend using them.
And (I hope) no-one on FTR uses them, so you probably won't get your question answered.

think he's taking about a poker calculator. Close to a bot.
A calculator will tell you what decisions to make. A bot will make the decisions for you.
I use neither so I can't help.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

a Calculator such as Texas Calculatem?
I have tried the free version of it; it calculates your odds and gives you tips weather to fold your hand such as 22 in UTG it willl offer you to fold.
thats about it. But if your talking about a bot you should be kicked in the nuts

Poker Odds Calculators such as Texas Holdem product "Poker Sidekick", among others out there will read your cards from the PC screen, then calculate various odds for you - quickly, automatically and effortlessly. These tools are legal and are not banned by online poker rooms. These tools essentially assist a player with how to play better poker, but don't make the decisions for you. You can think of this like being in "semi-automatic" mode - you still have to make the final decision and pull the trigger on the actual play.
Poker bots are fully-automatic - they read the screen, compute the odds and many other aspects of the game, then make an independent decision on how to play each hand, then they go ahead and execute the play - with no involvement from the human bot owner.
Poker bots are widely disliked and banned at most online poker rooms.

I got texas calculatem but other than computing a starting hand percentage chance of winning, seems to go too slowly to really be of much use making decisions on later rounds. I don't know if my program is defective or what, but it hasn't helped much where I would need it most.

If stuff like this worked. Everyone would be a winning player.
