Suppose player 1 has 6h and 8d pocket cards and player 2 has 6c and 7s.

The community cards come 6s, As, 10d, 3h, 5s.

The hand for P1 is pair of sixes (6h, 6s) then As, 10d, 8d

The hand for P2 is pair of sixes (6c, 6s) then As, 10d, 7s

Does the kicker go all the way down to the 5th card?
Who wins this pot?
Thanks, Nate

You got it exactly right. The kicker in this case would be the 5th card

If it were a little different and the board was: 6s, As, 10d, 3h, 6d
it would then be a split both players would have a trip sixes with A, T kickers...best 5 card hand wins and in my example the seven and eight would be irrelevant.

Easy now, 'rilla. You're starting to sound like a 2+2'er.

And this question is actually slightly different thanhis previous question.
Either way Ndotmcnutt, we are happy to answer your questions....in this case you could have simply tagged this on to your original thread since they are along the same lines.

Sorry, you caught me betwxt two big finals. You know how moody I get when I start thinking the "Delphi method" involves complex partial derivatives. I just get crazy...

My geniune apologies.

Aw that's OK, rilla. Just don't want FTR turning into a bunch of pompous asses like there are on 2+2.

I think 2+2 has value but the assholes detract alot from the experience there.

And, yes she is SMOKIN'!
