Hi guys, just wondering whether people can actually find the information they require from poker forums? Is there one poker forum which is known as the best for getting poker related questions answered?
Ive been in some forums and asked questions and hardly ever got a decent answer.
Your thoughts???

Its taken you 18 months to ask one vague generalized question since you first joined. The obvious answer would have to be, have you been asking the right questions. The way you have phrased it seems to imply "are there any better forums I should go to than this one.". If thats been your typical question is it any wonder that you have been frustrated by the replies you have experienced.

The beginners digest is an excellent place to start, browsing the poker articles is always good, and you can use search to find specific topics (Sorting by topic rating can get you some good stuff pretty fast).
But I am curious, will we have to wait till later next year to get a reply?

You guys do know weasel is a troll? He has asked this exact same question on several other forums. The reason he has never gotten any good answers is because he has never actually asked any questions. He joined each forum over a year back and it each one he only has 1 post. A cc of his 1 post here. So for him i would say forums are useless.

except freetrollers
they shoulda practive advioudlers
they aint big proponetns
of posting not just in moment
and those possibel future bannings
sometimes come tough to hang them

I joined ages ago yea, but totally forgot and would use a couple of other forums now and then when i was stuck and needed some help/ advice.
I guess trolling is like spamming or something right?
Anyway understandable my question/concern was vague, but then its a generalised question and im hoping for a specific answer (not much help i suppose).
Questions ive asked in the past were either silly or didnt even relate so my revised question is -
Are there any forums out there that are controlled well to filter out the bs answers, that are visited regularly (unlike me on here but that may change). Perhaps a forum where answers are scored or voted by members so the person asking the question can find his/her answer easily. And that answer is a good one. ???

Yea yahoo answers ive been on before, it is good, at least with that you dont get bs from people or it gets removed. You can get your question answered and you get answers voted so can see what most people think is the best answer.
Just a shame Yahoo answers is on everything not just poker, gonna look around, maybe there is a site for just poker questions and answers that is similar.
Oh and Nutty, i beg to differ, your last post is a prime example.

Well ya know, you could try to figure things out on your own. I'm not sure what types of questions you need answers, but most people aren't going to just give you all the answers on a silver platter. And the ones that do actually oblige probably won't be the right answers or at least the ones your looking for.

If someone gives you a definitive answer on poker in a forum, then you are in the wrong place. Look beyond the yes/no of a HH and find the reason why things are done.

yea i guess forums are not for answers to questions, not much help in most cases. Seems like ppl just waste their time on forums, well here especially, anyway found a good site for real poker related questions and answers. I suppose the decent ppl on here might be interested. Found it on stumble upon, links below.
