Tonight, I lost over 100 bucks when I hit a nut flush, they hit a full house...i get a straight, they hit full house....I bet this site has given out over 10 full houses. I multitable (2 tables) but only played about 3 hours....is this rate even feasable? Even in heads up it happened to me when I thought top pair was evne a really strong holding. Heck no, I catch the straight, he catches full house. Really frustrating, considering live I can play 5 hours, 30 hands/hour, and play for a month on end only seeing it maybe once.

Uhh ... you're complaining about running bad for one night? What's your sample size here?

It gets old after awhile when you hear that on-line poker is rigged over and over. Please read the stickies before you post and read these (these are just a few, there are many more posts just like these):

I think that the following relates to the OP. This guy sent a letter to PS complaining about his bad beats (he was serious).
Quote:
I am pretty upset.

I demand you guys change my luckswitch otherwise im never playing at this site ever again. Im pretty sure you get 100 emails like this every day but this is disgusting. Look over my hand history for the last 100 times i have had AA, KK, QQ, JJ. When i have AA someone has flopped a set on me without fail.

I spent 4 hours on a table and had 3buyins on the table. In the space of 5 mins i get AA twice and the same guy flops a set on me twice in a row. With JJ and 44 respectivly. You guys make alot of money from me.

Im a platinum player and go through around 15kvpp per month. Put it this way. Im holding this software responsible for my bad results. Im a winning player live and on many other pokersites and im continually getting screwed here.

If things dont get any better your loosing my business forever and im going to UB / Tilt where i can also get rakeback deals.

You have earnt far to much rake from me. Please start giving some back to me. I will continue this month and if things dont improve im gone. And if you happen to flick my luckswitch and i start winning money again... i wont tell anyone pokerstars is rigged.

PS sent this letter back to him.

Hello xxxxx,

Thank you for your recent email. I am sorry to hear of some of the bad beats
that you have been recently experiencing. However, I can assure you that our
shuffle is completely random, favouring or disfavouring no player over any
other. The computerized methods we use to shuffle the deck are more than
sufficient to ensure complete randomization of the cards, and complete
unpredictability of the cards to come. You can see the description of these
methods at:

http://www.pokerstars.com/security.html

In addition, we track all hands dealt daily to see if there is any
statistically significant variance.

In fact, we gave the source code to two independent auditors who reviewed
our shuffle algorithm and found it sound and random. You may read the
analyses of these auditors at:

http://www.pokerstars.com/rng_audit.html

We have dealt over 8,000,000,000 hands, and have freely given out real money
hand histories any time somebody has requested them. Not once has anybody
found any indication that our shuffle is not 100% random, and many who have
undertaken such studies have posted their findings to the Internet. You may
find just two of them here:

Sample size, sample size, sample size....

There is a possibility it can happen...it did.
Next hand has exactly the same probability it can happen...it did.

It will even out over a million hands. I don't think it's bad calls. Again, proper BR shouldn't make you upset or feel the site is rigged.

yeah sorry...I keep playing cause I can make a slow profit....just frustrates me when stuff like this happens....or like 3-4 paired flops in a row, 3 straight 3-suited flops...kinda irritating. But I am unlucky in live games too...gotten beat by plenty runner-runners on ppl trying to bluff me when i have best hand...amazing, you don't play a hand for 3 orbits and you suddenly raise and a person puts you on bluffing lol. I just hate catching runner runner cards, even if I am on the giving end. I've had plenty of times where I have done this and I feel bad. I like the money but I know I misread the hand and should have lost. If all poker players were respectable and admitted getting lucky that's all it takes. The guy who put a bad beat on me in our home game (who was supposedly good) said he totally misread it and was a really bad beat. I was steamed because if he thought about hands he beat he wouldn't have gone all in...but such is life.
