The Little Green Book by Phil Gordon is a real gem, it is a bit geared towards tournament play imo, but there is still heaps of things to be learned from it.
Theory of Poker by David Skylansky is good for getting into thinking more about the psychological aspects and gets you to think about the game like a pro.

meh. doyles book was the best at the time it was written. nowadays everything in it has been expanded upon and described in greater detail in other books and forums. If i had to pick just one to tell you to read though, i would pick harrington on holdem. If you can stand it, "the mathematics of poker" is also a good book...but it will feel like a college mathematics textbook.
