Villain is 20/12/1.2 over 120 hands.
The check after calling 3/4 pot bet on the flop threw me off and I was lost as to what to do next.
No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (7 handed) - Hold'em Manager
saw flop
SB ($11.90)
BB ($20.15)
UTG ($20.90)
MP1 ($17.20)
MP2 ($31.40)
CO ($21.50)
Hero (Button) ($23.45)
Preflop: Hero is Button with Kh, Kd
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, CO bets $1.25, Hero raises $3.75, 3 folds, CO calls $2.50
Flop: ($8.10) 6h, Jc, 6d (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls $6
Turn: ($20.10) 10d (2 players)
CO checks, Hero?

CO raised preflop which wouldnt make me think he had a 6. He is brobably sticking around with 10's or Q's. Or maybe he had an A J or something. I'd say you have him beat in this situation.

what? i dont get your reasoining here...it sounds like you expected him to fold to the flop bet or that you expected him to call and then shove the turn. the former means you turned KK into a bluff and the latter that you have a read on villain that you arent telling us. The whole, c/c check turn line is sooo common.
without reads, i give him a flop range of JTs+, 77+, JQo, JAo. unless you think he calls a 3b wider than this and we can include suited connector type hands, but i dont think so. i cant see him raising 66 pre...but its possible. suited connector type hands probably dont call that large of a 3b if he raises them pre, so i think his range here is mostly overcard type hands and pairs. Get to the flop and there are no draws. Continuing is probably due to him having some kind of pair and thinking your cbetting with an AK or something...or a Jx type hand that he would call pre. The check on the turn is one of two things:
he trap u
or he has a weak hand and is pot controlling.
of his range, trap u type hands are JT, TT+
weak hand is all other jacks and his weaker pairs that just called the flop bet.
Against the "trap u" range we have 53% equity. We kill the other range. So betting seems to be the right option here. I expect queens to call just as often as a set of jacks and tens (same number of combinations), aces call, but JT is more likely and theres more combinations. His 77-99 that i had will fold, but they arent going to be betting the river either. I think his stronger jacks still call though, so i feel we have a good amount of equity for a bet here. We have about $13 behind, pot is $20, so arr in seems good.

so he has like TT+ on the flop and you think betting $6 is the optimal amount/decision?

He raised and called a 3b from the CO. Is anything with a 6 in his range? If not, does the pairedness of the board matter much? I think the only thing he plays here that beats you on the flop is JJ. He might have AJ, KJ, QJ, JT, or a pocket pair and think you're full of crap. He might be floating with overs. He might have QQ and be playing carefully because he suspects you have KK+ and just wants a cheap showdown in case you have AK.
After calling the flop, I think he's could have AQ, KQ, AJ, KJ, QJ, JT, 22+. I'd throw in AK too if you have seen that he won't 4bet it. Has he seen you 3bet with AK a lot? I'd keep betting, since the only things in his range that have you beaten on the turn are 66, TT, JJ, JT and he would probably keep calling you down with Jx or QQ.
If he checkraises the turn, I figure he has JJ, TT or JT, since that's just such a common set line and most players are far too timid to do it with something like AJ here.
