I would rather play strategy over luck in any game, so even if i lose i feel good that i made the right choice. Losing luck over strategy and you just feel like a fool and thats how objects around you get broken.

I suggest you spend a little time reading over the lucky Slevin blogs in the blog forum and see what all this will do to you. Not only in your game and BR situation but how you will get treated around here if this keeps up.

Fuck checkboxes first of all. But check his first HH and you might find a nice surprise. But he did add the extra amount it said, I assumed he had auto-top.

I know I'm guilty of this at times but please, use the f---ing hand converter.

Thank you all my self esteem is dedstroyed!! I am underolled as I only have like $350 in the acct... but If I lose I will just deposit more money. I like the cash games and I like the tourney's. I have terrible BR management and have read every article possible on it. I will push the acct up playing tourney's and cash game and then I will start playing 200NL underolled and dump about the BR. So as far as getting better I want to be a better poker player YES... I want to get to the point where I dominate like so many of you do Yes... I do think that every one path is differnet. If you look at my stats you will see that every graph on every website continually goes up then I jump down... eventually the higher stakes will not make me drop anymore.

I wont make that same mistake anymore I wnated to get berated so I remmeber how much I am hated for playing that bad.

I don't know if any of this makes sense to you or anyone else but without much explanation I can tell you I run about 10BB/100 at $100NL over the last few months. This is how my month has started and I can tell you this is very standard. I have had worse. BR management is absolutely necessary for this reason. It doesn't matter if you know you can beat the game, this variance is still over 5BB/100 which is respectable for $100NL 6m

then look at what I posted in your OP on friday , two days before the first post in this thread.
Quote:
You're a frickin poopyhead and suck bigtime.

Ok now we got the unpleasentness outta the way . You've been blessed in that you managed to escape the jail sentence and your punishment in a way is as much boredom and isolation rather than locked doors slamming shut.
You have an opportunity now to do what many of us would love to do and sit back , step out of the outside world and focus 100% on improving as a poker player. Take this opportunity , relish it , work hard at it , devote yourself to it. By doing so and really focussing and applying yourself you have the opportunity to turn your whole life around.
Learn how to be sensible, and diligent , to exercise self control and how to discipline yourself to making correct decisions. Realise how the adrenaline rush of living on the edge destroys everything that you are trying to achieve not only in your poker but in your real life as well. When you can accomplish this , you need have no fear of winding up back in jail.

So first step to changing the rest of your life , get back in the micro cash games and start taking the slow and steady road to success by grinding your ass using proper Bankroll Management . post your target bankroll before you are going to move up and your stop loss at which you move back down and stick to it. Even if it feels hard and boring , stick to it ......this is where you will learn the self discipline and self control that will change the rest of your life.
The post of yours I quoted flies totally in the face of the advice I gave you . did you even check back in your OP to check for any comments. Have you looked up lucky slevin? You have to exercise the self control , if not you'll end up with a busted bankroll and when your home confinement ends (assuming you even keep that going ) you end up doing something that winds up with you in jail. Don't say you want to do something , find the determination to actually do something about it.

First off, wait for the BB instead of posting when you join a table, it gives you a few hands to assess the competition, and maybe make some notes.

Then, next time you pick up A5o at the CO, you can muck it, instead of checking to the button.

Failing that, I'm not sure you can do much to avoid losing all your money here, to be honest. You should've been much more aggressive at both the flop and turn, especially if you put him on a flush draw. Make him pay to see those cards! But, your read is wrong, and he has a weaker 5, so I don't think he's folding, especially since you're a new player at the table, perhaps just trying to stamp your authority. So, really, the money should be in at the turn, the cards flipped over, you smile, you see the river, and you cry. Damn, why didn't I just wait for the BB?

[ x ] what everyone has said so far

but also, nobody has pointed out that if OP actually played the hand correctly, then he wouldn't've lost the hand.

also, even though you were doomed to be coolered or bad beaten by the time you get to the flop, your flop play makes me want to through you through a 3rd story window for playing at 25NL because you clearly have a lot of learning to do in the lower limits.

Mman whatever happened to bankroll management like seriously. The only reason there's so much fail ITT is due to your ignorance of some simple principles that you're too lazy to practice diligently. You need to figure out this self control thing or the train wreck will just repeat itself. IRC recommended if you haven't already tried.
"Once we reach a certain level of mastery, we see there are higher levels and challenges. If we are disciplined and patient, we proceed. At each higher level, new pleasures and insights await us--ones not even suspected when we started out. We can take this as far as we want--in any human activity there is always a higher level to which we can aspire."

Ok so you're a donk. But does playing badly make you a donk? I usually consider a donk to be a player who uses no thought or stratagy and calls raises with ridiculous hands then hopes to get a lucky flop. No skill just stupidity and luck. You can always start with the better hand then lose to a superior bet and a lucky flop
Play Smart. Change Stratagies. Play the Streaks. Quit while you are ahead.

See Donk bet
See Donk raise
See Donk get lucky on the river and bust your AA with a 27 off suit
See Donk get shot in a live poker room
Dont be a DONK!

You should never slowplay a hand like that. You should have made him pay to stay in.

Unless you have the absolute nuts or are a very good player, you should NEVER slowlplay.
