Do you think it is important, to sometimes go out of your comfort to become a better player, as they talk about in a Vodcast on Full tilt? Like moving up levels in buy-in (ring or sng)? Or try a MTT, coz eventually you will get out of your comfort zone - blinds going up etc?

No, I play best when I'm comfortable. Playing outside your comfort zone strains the thought process imo.

What does Full Tilt have to gain with this advice? They don't want gamblers only gambling within their comfort zone. They want irresponsible gamblers.

Nope i dont agree that playing out of your comfort zone aids better play, at 100nl,im happy to make difficult descisions or plays for my entire stack as im solidly rolled for the limit (60 buyins plus) whilst at 200nl i definitely wouldnt and mentally, losing 200+ bucks at a time, unavoidable or not would hurt.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Im new to the site here, so my opinion may not count for much. IMO playing outside of your comfort zone is a recipie for disaster. Considering that being uncomfortable at the level of the game will affect your desciscions in a very negative way... as in:
causing you through dicomfort to slow down for the wrong reasons in a hand
if you are not comfortable with the stakes you are playing your desciscions will not be motivated by a proper action according to the players and the state of the board.. but instead by your fears.
