I was just wondering if you could make a profit playing only AA/KK at 50$NL?

Doubtful. If your VPIP and PFR is 0.9% then even the stereotypical "unobservant micro stakes player" will take notice. I dont think you would loose money, but it would be very close to breakeven. The thinking players [yes, there are some] will play SCs and PPs against your raises and you would probably get stacked a few times. However, you would also stack a few players who hadnt played with you long enough to see how tight you were, so it would probably balance out.

I'm gonna take a stab at this.

The odds of being dealt AA or KK is ~1/200. Therefore, you should be dealt either one of those hands every 100th hand or so.

At 50NL 10 man, which is what I assume you're talking about, you pay $.75 every time around the table. Assuming you start as BB, avoiding the extra bring-in bet, it works out to $7.50 in blinds for a hundred hands of poker.

The question then becomes, can you expect to make >$7.50 every time you get AA/KK at 50NL? I think the answer, over the long term is, "no friggin' way."

Wrong, you would lose quite a lot actually. Just compare using Pokertracker your profit with AA and KK to the amount it cost you to post blinds thus far. Its not even close.

Wait. I just had an idea. You could make money with A-A and K-K, while also playing other profitable hands.

Renton will become famous soon enough
you make money at 25 or 50nl if you just raise AA/KK/QQ/AK and set hunt pp's, and fold all hands worse than two pair to any postflop raise.
