Been playing a little more NLHE recently and I'm having problems in these areas. (This is only $10 buy-in)
Example) AK of diamonds. 1 raise before me, I rearaise so it's HU on the flop. Flop is rags and 2 diamonds. I get bet into and reraise to put him all in. Is this correct or not?
As a side track to this what if I have AK/AQ, basically two over cards and a similar situation happen. Are you calling this to the turn?
Example) QQ in BB, bunch limpers so I raise big and get 2 callers. Flop is rags and a J. I bet 3/4 pot, other guy calls and button raises. Once again I put reraised big to get rid of other caller. Works but button puts me all in. I call and he hits his A on the river for AJ two pair. Proper play or no?
Anyways, there are more examples but I'd just like a little overview/advice on how you all handle these types of cards.

For a real quick answer, (skipping all the nuances of NL betting and raising) as long as your money is going in when you have a better hand, its not a bad play.

I was about to post a topic about same thing (nut flush draws on the flop)
Heres the deal, I ALWAYS push all in with the nuts flush draw if theres money in the pot here...I do this regardless of high cards on the flop.
Lets say Im in early position on the flop and theres 20x or more in the pot. This is when I push it all-in and if someone wants to make a coinflip call then thats fine. Even if they do I consider that I did the right thing going all-in to improve my odds on taking home the pot. I dont want to call or check to see a turn card thats not in my suit.
I do the same thing if I get bet into in middle position, though if Im in late position and IF the table is loose with lots of fish. Id really advice just calling bets here since you could end up with a 400x pot if the players are betting and rerasing with pairs and lower flush draws. This has happened to me three or four times at 50NL and is the reason I still play at pacific. =)
The reason I was also going to post about this is because I lost 4 max buy-ins when going all-in on the flop early ...well I feel can only blame bad luck, or does anyone disagree? Please post.

Overcards:I miss the flop and someone bets big;I usually fold unless the pot is big and if I know the odds of my out being counterfeited are low.For the most part you are drawing to 6 outs presuming your outs don't give someone two pair(or worse a straight). For the most part I dump my overs when I miss.
Straight/flush draws:I call if the flop bet is decent and if I know doing so will encourage other callers(pot odds). If I am last to act and everyone has called I may raise to represent a made hand(and again induce calls to either up my odds or better yet folds).
Turn I lead out if I raised the flop betting.I check if the free card is avaliable.Sometimes I'll push all in if I have a pair and I know the others are capable of folding.
River is straightforward:valuebet if you hit,check/fold if you missed. The times you hit should at worst balance out the times you miss.
