Lately I have run into some spots where I am not quite sure what to in the blinds. What I mean is how do you adjust what you normally raise etc, and how does number of limpers affect this?

Basically I have been playing tighter from these spots with regards to raising as you will always be OOP. Hopefully this topic is not considered elementary, but I am looking for some insight and perhaps some intricacies or strategies that can be used from this position.

1. If there are several callers and you have a hand with high straight/flush probability should you min raise?
2. In general what hand range should you raise with from SB/BB? (I know this is dependent on multiple factors, work with me here)
3. What are your thoughts when it comes to you in the BB/SB and it has already been raised?

Good questions and some simples answers to them.

1. Umm min raising thats just not really in my arsinal. very rarely I would limp Behind.Raising you will probley get some callers its better to raise thows in late position anyway because U HAVE POSITION thats y u did it and to take blinds. AND if they call out of the blinds u likely put them on bigger hands or pocket pairs.

2.If in SB in a unraised pot I will open Pretty wide range Q's and up suited its pretty +EV I found they mostly fold anyways. And I noticed postflop there usually not really that commited to the pot and see it as just B vs B battle so cbets do very well here.

3. very very simple BIG HANDS BIG HANDS ONLY thats it...oops had to edit number 3 right away if theres a few callers Call behinf with suited connecters and any other lil hands u like because the pot is bigger and its more worth it but only when u have a few callers other wise fold unless big hands....and when i do play out of the blinds im almost always 3 betting because it can also win u the pot right there without having to be out of position!

Hope this helped!!!

1. I dont ever minraise preflop, its useless
2. If there are limpers, then I am pretty tight from the SB, I usually only raise with TT+, AQ+. If its folded to me in the SB i raise alot of hands as long as the BB isnt a big time blind defender.
3. I would 3bet QQ+, AK

JKDS is on a distinguished road
1) no. id hate to get 3bet out of a pot were id normally have odds to play

2) there are way too many variables here. there are tables where t-rex's idea and kbryce23's idea would be correct. your decision here should be based on stacksizes, calling ranges, 3b ranges, fold to cbet % stats, how much equity we have against such calling ranges etc.

3) well...i actually just worked on this though not from the blinds. we need somewhere between 33 and 45% equity to continue (depending on number of limpers) so this question would depend mainly on what hand we had and how much equity it had against villain's perceived range. from the blinds, we probably need less equity (due to 1bb already in the pot from us). Additionally, we would have to consider our implied odds and how often villain cbets.
