The other day I was in the BB on a full-ring microstake table with K3o. Five people limped in, and I checked, and the flop was something like K84 rainbow. I've got top pair but a crappy kicker. What is the best way to play this hand? Unless I hit two pair on the flop with BB trash, I'd normally just check and hope to hit a set or two pair on the turn/river, and fold to any raises. I'm wondering if this is the best way to play? Should I make a bet, and if so how much? At microstakes people call with all sorts of junk, so it's a little difficult to pinpoint their hand.

Fold it. If you get to see further streets for free then thats nice, but you dont want to play TPNK in a 6-way pot.

Against 1 or 2 limpers its worth a raise, but slow down quickly to any aggression.
Just playing to improve.

Fold to bet on the flop, if checked you may be good but proceed with caution.
Never bet on a white man in the heavyweight division!
