At this point, I feel my note taking is far from good. I typically capture comments such as "will go to felt on top pr", "will bet most draws OOP", "will chase f/s draws", and my favorite: "total donk".

This has worked fine at micro stakes, where I only use them in extreme cases, and they tend to be very general. However, I'm getting ready to move up a level, and I'm looking to improve my note taking. So, I want to be more prolific and more detailed. I'm looking for examples/extracts of notes that have captured, and thoughts on the things that you take note of most often...thanks, folks.

i would put my generic reads on top, and my specifics down a couple lines. and get good at abbreviating.

whatever you decide, make it easy on the eyes...so you can catch them at a glance super quick.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

Agreed with copper in that easy to the eyes is key.

I find that note taking helps, but usually only notes made during the same session. You see, there are thousands of players on my site who play 100NL at different times. So, notes are not THAT useful.

My favorites though, are: auto bb fold, and uber aggressive vs blinds.
