What's my calling range out of the BB when he raises UTG?

He's the big stack. Preflop makes me think KK, but I'm troubled by my fold here...

Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $59.31
CO: $135.11
Button: $31.28
Hero: $257.80
BB: $565.21

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with A A
UTG folds, CO raises to $4, Button calls, Hero raises to $16, BB calls, CO calls, Button folds.

Flop: 2 K 7 ($52, 3 players)
Hero bets $30, BB raises to $85, CO folds, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $55 returned to BB.

Results:
Final pot: $112

I think you need to grab your nutsack, rub it the left, then rub it to the right. Tilt your head downward and re-establish eye contact with your scrotum, ensuring that it is in place.

He has top pair. You folded the best hand.

KK prob rereraises preflop. KK prob smooth calls the flop. So does a lower set. Ak reraises the flop.

A hyper LAG like this isnt playing top set that fast, and if youre not ready to get down with an OP against this type of player than you should probably leave the table.
Me? I always tell the truth.

Even when I lie.

I don't think KK reraises after my reraise here, and I don't think KK smoothcalls on a two-tone board. Still, I suspect you may be right.

If this fits in my sig, I'm using it:

EJECT EJECT EJECT!

....or better yet, grab the first open seat.

You're probably vastly over-estimating your edge when he has position on you.

I KNEW I was going to get a comment about poor seat selection and I KNEW it was coming from you, Fnord.

I sat down at the table and he types in the chat, "Warpe from FTR?"

"yup", I type.

He gave me quite a bit of respect from there on in (God knows why).

Thinking this hand over I'm still fairly confident he had KK. If he didn't, nh him. I gotta stop getting spooked by deep stacks.

Since he knows who you are, maybe he'll come on here and tell ya that you folded the best hand.

The player base is fairly small on this site. I'm sure I'm going to run into him again.
