BankItDrew will become famous soon enough
My brother plays on PKR software. His poker bankroll strategy is this: $500 bankroll, one table 200NL, sitting with maximum chips, every time he gets to $600 he withdrawals and brings his roll back down to $500. He has withdrawn $1400 thus far over the past 10 days. He thinks this site is full of fish and believes that this method can be more profitable than any other site... mainly because of the fish level. Also, once he pays off his credit card and his roll is $5k, he'll withdrawal 100% and multi-table Stars. He started with a $50 roll and played lower stakes tables and worked his way up. At least 5 buy-ins for those levels.

Two questions:
1) What is your opinion of PKR, if you've played it or heard about it
2) What do you think of his strategy?

How would that be more profitable than 9-tabling at fishyland? If he's cleaning up so badly then why not increase your hand/hr, and thus your hourly rate?

Oh, wtf, they only allow for 4-tabling? weak!

I'd be surprised if he didn't eventually run into a -2 BI streak....

A good portion of my initial bankroll came from a tourney win at PKR and playing some cash games which I was underolled for with my winnings.
The standard of play is the worst I have come across. I was not particularly good either at this stage of my "career".

I did not get rakeback though and it is not multi table friendly or PT/PA hud compatible. Hands per hour is alot less too due to all the gimmicks.
I may try some higher stakes there in future but now only if I am properly rolled for it.

If the game is good, keep a real roll and play.

If he's a favorite offer to back him.

He will have to reload at some point the way he plays. Also, he will run at least 8 buy-ins bad at some point.

Unless you're pro or playing above your income level, if the game is good and you can afford to play, then play!

BTW, I'm taking a serious look at the 5/10 live games here, it's about fucking time...
