At Pokerstars the 90 player SnG with a .25 cent buy-in is an easy tournament to turn your .25 cents into $6.20. The tournament is not like many micro- limit SnG's because the tournament is not a turbo. If your a tight player and play premium hands then this is the tournament for you. With the starting chip count being 2000 instead of 1500 is gives a player time to see at least one good hand before the blinds take over. Usually players in this tournament get in their own way so cashing is a no brainer. In this tournament out of 90 players 12 cash so all you have to do is turn 2000 into 15000 to be at average but the beauty about this SnG is that you can not get one good hand and still make the money.

I play that SnG frequently as well. It's perfect for nights when I really want to play poker, but I'm already a little tired and know I probably won't be able to play my best game. Very little risk with a potential for a decent little payout.

One thing I always wonder, though, is how PS makes any money off these micro tourneys with no registration fees...

- By getting you to sign up to the site in the first place. Maybe you'll go play some cash games since you're signed up?
- If you build your roll, you're not playing $0.25 tourneys forever, are you? You'll move up to a place where there is a rake
