I'm doing very well at the $50 NL game at party so far, but I want to spend to be sure it's not just a upswing so i'm not moving up till i have more than my current 5k hands at this limit on party...

but to thoes who have gone on before me...

how would you compair the $50, $100, and $200 NL games on party?

thanks

50 ~ 100 < 200

$100 isn't a big step up, so if you're on an upswing, you may as well try to take it up tehre. $200 NL starts getting players that think about what you have rather than just what they have.

Agreed, 200 NL is pretty tough. There is a lot of hyper aggressive players and a lot of conservative players, it's a good mix. Table selection is crucial here. The best players play at the highest levels is pretty much how it is.

Hmm, I'll add in a $100 NL table to try things out then. =)

It's so crazy... $50 NL on party is NOTHING like $50 NL on Prima or UB =)

Any other sites that are as soft as partypoker?

200nl ring is a camp fest, 200nl 6max has its fair share of idiots.

I play at Champs, and the 25NL and 50NL 6max are the toughest games. The next highest stake, 200NL is very loose. I have no idea why. You make a shitload of money there though. I'll buy in short for 50 and be at 400 within an hour. You just know some guy deposits his whole check hoping to hit paydirt against seasoned poker players.

One guy named Hoyohoyo just sits down and camps very obviously. He always walks out with about 1K. I never enter a pot with him if I don't have to, since he's as tight as a nun crotch.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

wow, i am just transitioning over to 6-max: 100nl 6-max is like playing darts with a blind kid. will hopefully know about 200nl within a couple weeks.

oh yea, the other stuff. 25NL and 50NL are the same, 5o maybe a little rocky-er. 100NL is more or less the same, but you do see more aggression and less passivity, but it is far from smart aggression. i have only played a few hundred hands at 200 and can't really comment, but it seems basically the same just with slightly less idiots.
