2 hands from today. They both really threw me for some reason.

4th hand at the table, villein hadn't played in many pots looking at HH's. Shove over his check raise?

This is just what I would do fwiw. It's not advice:

(AA) - fold river
(KK) - raise Turn smallish (~$0.90) and fold to shove / as played fold River

Both are probably bet/folds on the flop.

Hand 1 - this is a pretty drawy board. You are cbetting into 2 villains on a drawy board. A competent player probably isn't going to be c/raising with a player left to act light here. So a reasonable assumption would be that we are likely behind his value check/raising range. That is, I don't think he raises many worse hands for value (A9, etc). However, this is pretty dependent on the player and his view of relative hand strength.

Also, given the action he probably isn't bluffing often, if at all. So you can probably safely fold the flop.

As played, fold the turn. You never have a 6x hand in your range (other than 66), whereas he can have 76, 65, 66 for the straight. You likely don't open JTs from UTG, whereas he could def call preflop with it. He can still be valuebetting sets, whereas you probably get them allin on the flop. So in essence, his range is much stronger than your range, and I highly doubt he is bluffing here. So fold.

Hand 2 - Also probably a bet/fold on the flop.

JKDS is on a distinguished road
could you elaborate on hand 2 stax?

i completely agree with hand 1, but in the 2nd hand the board is a bit less drawy (less two pairs/straights possible) than the first one, villain's line isnt anywhere near as strong since its just a button minraise as apposed to a 3way check raise, theres possible flush draws, and we dont have to call much. I feel the above make it more likely button has A9, flushy draw, 98, 97 and some middle pairs often enough to make it at least a call.

These kind of spots are tough against unknowns... I have a tendency to give unknowns a little credit and assume they have what they rep...

So the first hand with AA I would fold the flop as Stacks said. The second hand with KK I would call the flop min raise and bet/fold the turn...
