What makes you think they did?

Fairly blatant misclick, villain knows this and knows youll probably fold so pushes a very wide range.

i thought that he knew that it was a misclick and therefore pushed but i just cant call in that spot.

there are players still left to act behind him. so if they had a good hand or i had a good hand he would be in trouble.

also, i'm only getting about 2.6 to 1 odds. so i need a 28% chance of winning to call. i think he must had an above average hand at worst. if he was bluffing then i would be between a 60-40 and a 65-35 dog. but i think that most of his range is premimum hands.

against 33-88. im a 70-30 dog and against TT+ i'm miles behind.

should i really have called?

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 28.015% 27.72% 00.30% 165177060 1761720.00 { 93s }
Hand 1: 71.985% 71.69% 00.30% 427181292 1761720.00 { 88+, AJs+, AJo+ }

That's kinda a breakeven range. Not sure whether I would call or not. I think I would against a thinking or aggro player, not against a nit though, as they would have a much tighter range here.

I think his range his tighter than this. If I was in his situation and knew that it was a misclick - I would not play AJ, 88, 99 or AQ. i would play AK and TT+.
Even if it is a misclick - it is unlikely that i have a hand as bad as 93s.
I'm not that loose. And there is still the possibility that I have a mega hand or 2 of the players behind me have a mega hand.

And if it is so likely that a player behind you will push a bad man to the fake click. Then I think the best way to play AA is to raise to $77 instead of $7.
Only try it once with a group of players. But if what you say is true then i think it's probably the most profitable way to play them.

BTW, sbrugby actually did do the fake misclick against Phil Ivey twice. Both on purpose.
